Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE JULY 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FriendDiff website, desktop application, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Private-test status

FriendDiff is under active development. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, or removed. Test data may be reset. Do not rely on FriendDiff as the sole copy of information important to you.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and meet any minimum age required by applicable law. You are responsible for your account credentials, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity conducted through your account.

Game accounts, public lookups, and ownership

The current alpha allows public Riot-ID lookups and public match imports. A lookup does not establish ownership. You may claim a game account as yours only when you own it or are authorized to connect it, and you may not represent an unverified public import as a verified connection. You must comply with each game publisher’s terms, policies, and authorization requirements.

Acceptable use

You may not use FriendDiff to:

Groups and shared information

By joining a group and connecting a supported game account, you understand that authorized match information and derived comparisons may be visible to accepted group members. Group owners and members remain responsible for how they communicate and use the Service socially. Playful receipts are not permission to harass anyone.

Third-party services

FriendDiff depends on third-party platforms and services, including game publishers, hosting providers, authentication services, email providers, and local game integrations. Their terms also apply. We do not control their availability, approval processes, data accuracy, or service changes.

Intellectual property

FriendDiff and its original software, design, and branding are owned by FriendDiff or its licensors. Game names, marks, assets, and data remain the property of their respective owners. FriendDiff is not endorsed by Riot Games. Riot Games and League of Legends are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, publishers, or the Service; enforce these Terms; respond to legal requirements; or operate the private test. You may stop using FriendDiff at any time and may request account deletion.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Match information and statistical findings may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. FriendDiff does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular result, or continued support for any game.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FriendDiff and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@frienddiff.com.
